The two parties met in Milan on Wednesday to discuss the Slovakian center-back, who is valued by Inter at €60 million, Romano adds.Spurs are unwilling to meet that valuation, though. They've reportedly offered around €50 million, including add-ons. Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing.If a deal can't be brokered for the 25-year-old, Tottenham could turn their attention to Benfica defender Ruben Dias, according to Romano.Following the August departure of stalwart Jan Vertonghen, Jose Mourinho has identified central defense as a key area that requires strengthening.
