Casting Shadow è un gioco da tavolo in cui interpreteremo un tenero animaletto che si trasformerà in una furia della natura e ingaggerà una battaglia magica all'ultimo sangue con gli altri partecipanti. Dai turni veloci e senza troppi "scervellamenti", il titolo ideato dal creatore di Unstable Unicorns risulta divertente e coinvolgente, a patto però di non incappare in qualche combinazione così forte da rovinare la partita. Dei tempi morti troppo eccessivi potrebbero inoltre scoraggiare i giocatori meno pazienti. Se però amate far rissa coi vostri amici, Casting Shadows vi farà sicuramente divertire.

The Casting Shadows vinyl figures come in sets of two (one Base Form and one Shadow Form vinyl figure for the same character). Each vinyl figure set also comes with a chipboard environment based on the character's home Hex artwork that you can use to display them. To give a sense of scale, the Base Form vinyl figures average about 1.7 inches tall, and the Shadow Form vinyl figures average about 2.6 inches tall. At that size, you can fit 4 on a Hex tile if you want to use them for gameplay.
