2023 is the fifth release of the limited distillery edition blend. This bottling is a tribute to the distillery’s Great House, still standing in its original form as a reception space for guests and visitors to the distillery. Made from a blend of different marks, the Great House recipe differs from year to year. 2023's is a blend of 40% 7 year old HLCF and 60% 2 year old LROK. Notes of creme brulee, candied pineapple, mango, allspice, citrus, and coriander.
Maison Arhumatic reinvents rum punches by selecting the best fruits, freshly cut herbs, spices from afar and agricultural rum from Guadeloupe. It's true, Rhum arrangé (which more or less means 'rum with stuff in it') is technically a flavored rum. But it's miles away better than cloyingly sweet and flavored rums of our younger years.
